Sure you can still get a 'bagged' vacuum cleaner today but most people opt for the bagless models. As long as you keep the filters clean and free from debris you will get good performance out of them for many years. If you have carpets in your home then having an effective vacuum cleaner is a must. You want to avoid having allergens like dust mites and pet dander build up because they will start to affect your quality of life.
